The clip icon is greyed out in DDR or will not display on output. This may happen because Unicode characters (like those found in Chinese,Korean, Hebrew …) are either in the file name or in the file path.
To resolve this problem you will need to change the local language on the TriCaster to the language you are trying to use which contains the Unicode characters.
