Codec Pack install on Mac Mountain Lion

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Getting error:

"The operation couldn't be completed. (OS Status error -- 67049)"

when installing the codec pack on a mac running mountain lion.

Specific Symptoms

unable to install

Steps to Fix / Workaround

Disable Mac Gatkeeper. This is keeping the program from installing, once disabled the codec pack should install without error
