If you recently received your MediaDS (or performed a Factory Restore) you may receive the following message when the software launches: "Failed to download license". To resolve this, please update MediaDS to the latest software version available. The latest software can be found on our website: https://www.newtek.com/downloads/
If updating doesn't resolve this issue, then please contact Newtek Support through any of the methods listed here; https://www.newtek.com/support/get-support/. When you contact us, make sure to have all of the following handy.
1. The wowza log files located at:
C:\Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.6.0\logs
C:\Wowza Media Systems\Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8\logs
2, Serial Number of the Media DS, which will be 15 digits long and located on a white sticker.
3. The last time you tried to set up and use the Media DS.
4. The email you used for registration.
