Import/DDR Playback issues

Issue: A clip added to the Import Bin shows as a 'Still' and will not complete the import or playback in the DDr bin.

Steps to Resolve: This is likely caused by the name of the file containing characters that are not recognized by the TriCaster software.  Below is an example of a file with a special character within the file name that will not import or play in the DDR.

Using that same file, rename it 'file.mov' and the import and playback should now be successful.

We recommend is that file names don't contain any special characters or additional periods as Windows will read anything after the period as the file type.

Examples:

Good: 'SunBroadcast482018.mov'

Bad: 'ThursdayHTML5.2Seminar4/8/2018Dr.Smith.mov'
