NDI 4 Tools and Windows Server 2012

Issue: After installing the latest NDI tools or NDI SDK, some customers are reporting they receive the following error when attempting to launch the software (though the software will still launch!):

"The program can't start because MF.dll is missing from your computer"

Solution: Within Server 2012 you will need to install the Media Foundation components. To do this, use the Add Roles and Features wizard from the Server Manager. Then you can skip through to Features and then select Media Foundation. This should resolve the errors related to the DLL files.
