Newtek Virtual Input on MAC OS with Zoom

Recent MAC OS security settings introduced the requirement that applications to enable the loading of any libraries that are code-signed by another publisher of company.  Most 3rd party applications do enable this feature and that is why applications like Skype, Teams etc, work with Virtual Input.

However, applications like Zoom are unable to load other companies’ libraries and thus Zoom is unable to accept our Virtual Input source as a webcam (though it may still show NDI Audio as an input option).

Since it is unlikely Apple will change their current security requirements, we suggest customers reach out to Zoom to inquire if they can change their application signing services.  If they can allow 3rd party library loading, then this will allow workflows with Virtual Input on MAC and Zoom to work again.
